Our annual class recital will be in March of 2009. I will send out the exact date as soon as we can nail that down. All students are expected to perform a piece at the recital. By the end of December 2008 we should have selected a recital work for each student.

Some of my advanced students will be competing in the U.S. Open in February of 2009. If you would like to learn more about this event, their website is at http://www.usomc.org/. Good luck!

Reminders

Tuition: Please remember to bring payment to the first less on of each month.

Scheduling & Cancellations: I have a very full teaching schedule this year and would like to to remind everyone to please drop off and pick up kids on time. Due to scheduling constraints, I am unable to reschedule cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the lesson. If you will be going on vacation or have some other conflict, we need to find a reschedule time that will work for both of us ahead of time.

Parking: Please park in the designated guest parking spaces around the neighborhood. I have created a Google map to make it easy to find where the closest parking spaces are: http://tinyurl.com/piano-studio-parking

2008 American Fine Arts Festival competition result

I want to express how proud I am of Eugene, Leon, Patrick, Linda, and Vishank for participating in the American Fine Arts Festival 2008 Competition. The competition was exceptionally difficult, with over 600 participants. All five of my students were selected by the judges as winners and have been invited to perform in New York City. Congratulations to you all for your hard work and for doing such a great job!
